"Viruses that Destroy Spiritual Maturity"
When: "January 17, 2010 at 10am and 12noon"
Spiritual maturity is the ongoing desire to reflect the character of Christ, it is the journey to a firm foundation. Having a daily quiet time with God that involves prayer and reading His word to obtain His perspective so that all that is written in the Bible can be applied to our everyday lives.
Spiritual maturity is developed as we live out our regular lives, at home, work and school. Spiritual maturity has no barrier to race, color or creed. It does not differ according to gender nor is it limited by age. However, it is learned behavior, and demonstrated by way of understanding what we read in the Bible, prayer, fasting and giving of tithes and offering. Just as we develop in the natural, so should we also develop in our spiritual lives.
Insoul is looking to help each of our members, visitors and friends during the month of January to fully understand the concept of Spiritual Maturity and how it relates to us all and deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ. Come looking for a blessing this month as we roll out the meaning of spiritual maturity, through the new preaching series by Pastor Johnson entitled, “The Viruses that Destroy Spiritual Maturity.”
