MEMBERSHIP
As Believers we are called to belong, not just believe. God did not intend for us to live our lives in isolation but in relationships. We have a vision of welcoming members into a biblically functioning community where people love, laugh, care, share with each other. Family is big at Insoul in that, we don't want you just to be a member, we want you to feel like family. If you are tired of the same old thing in church, seeking a church that breaks the mold, give Insoul a try and discover the difference yourself.
Baptism
Jesus never told us to celebrate his birth but he did tell us to remember his death and resurrection. He told us to baptize and do communion. At Insoul, we baptize corporately once per month. The purpose of baptism is to symbolize a new life in Christ and a person’s incorporation into the body of Christ. Every baptism is a wonderful celebration with encouragement and clapping. We encourage candidates to invite their family and friends to witness the awesome occasion.
Class 101
This basic introduction to our church family is designed to clearly explain who we are. In this class, you will learn about our beliefs, our salvation, and church strategy and structure. We will explain the Insoul purpose statement and how you can live the purpose driven life. The class is taught by Pastor Greg and the membership team on the 4th Sunday of every month. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to decide if you want to complete the membership process by filling out and signing the membership covenant.
Host Groups
Host Groups are the glue to Insoul. Insoul is a church of host groups not just a program with groups. When people join the church they are encouraged to connect through a group. We believe every church must grow larger and smaller at the same time. It remains closely knit and relational through small groups(host groups). These are groups of 4 to 8 individuals who meet every other week to stay connected, grow spiritually, and love each other. In host groups, you love and are loved, care and cared for, share and shared with. Insoul has host groups meeting all over Cumberland County. Most people join groups that are in their community or zip code. If you want to get connected , we welcome you to connect with one of our host groups.
